Does Mesh or any form of multiplayer collaboration work on Scratch 2.0 yet?

Not for the general public. Official testers can use cloud data to create stuff like that though.

Will the new paint editor allow hidden sprites?
Hidden sprites will be vital for 2.0, with the cloud variables, as clouds will be used for chat things, and if you want a curse filter, you dont want some 5-year old using "See Inside" and finding a nice little list of words, or a spammer finding ways around it.

Cloud variables are variables shaped like a cloud.
Okay, I'm kidding.
Cloud variables are variables that are "in the cloud" which means that they are connected to the world. They can be used for online multiplayer games, chatrooms, even MMOs.

can you get them on scratch, or is what you're discussing are they on scratch 2.0? What do they do, in a basic example then?

No they're not available in the current version. What they do is that they are shared between everybody who uses your project. A basic example would be high score list for a game where you could see the scores from other people.

Ooohhh right. That would be useful. I can already think of lots of ways to use a cloud variable.

Will it let you use different sound files?

It is going to have a new look and so will the website.

Will there be a downloadable version, I have a limit to when being on the internet, so a downloadable version would be nice.

Yes, there will be some new blocks. See this page for a list of the new blocks and how to use them.

Sorry if this is already answered somewhere (too many posts on 2.0 to read by now)
Will the "window showing the actual scratch creation" maximize to full screen? I mean, really full screen, like eg. youtube movies? If not, I suggest it should because it would be a lot nicer that the current small screen variants.
Thank you!

Thank you!
In the Flash Player, you can shift-click the expand button to put it into true full screen.

Will there be a tool for creating 3d models that you can pose, with all angles available, so you don't have to create hundreds of costumes every time you want it to do something, so you can have a
Switch pose to ()And in the brackets have a little tree figure of the model so you can choose it's pose. I think this is a good idea so i may draw concept art if you want me to.
Glide pose to () pose in () secsblock.

Will Scratch 2.0 support .ocg files, because I wanted to use songs from the game "MOTHER 3" but SCratch wouldn't use .ocg files
Offline
Examples of uses of 3d models:
3D games
Games with awesome graphics and animation
Showing anatomy
Anything else you can think of!
Famous games involving 3d models:
COD
Halo
Minecraft
Mario kart
Later pokemon games
Warioland 4
Supermario (almost anything, most of those games have 3d models in!)
All "over the shoulder games"
Anything else you can think of!
I hope the scratch team considers my idea.

When will it come out? Next year? next few months? NEXT month? A week? A day? WHEN? (I know how hard it would be to program scratch, even WITH scratch, but I just can't wait!)
