This is awesome! Right now I have an HTML site and I really wanted a free hoster that comes with a free .com domain. This is sick!

That's how I felt when I found this! big_smile

Let me settle this once and for all:
If .co.nr was a real domain thinghymabobber, typing co.nr into the address bar would do nothing. However, it does do something. It redirects you to a free redirection domain site, complete proof that it is not an official domain.

no, say i had a website, supercoolwebsite.co.nr. (example) it would go to that website. not the get a free thing.

Re: Free .com domain names

Ok, yes co.nr domains are convenient because they are free, I myself have one
http://entrepreneurparty.co.nr

http://www.forums.co.nr/What-Does-Co.nr-Stand-For_7600.html
That explains what co.nr domains are. The company made a deal with the  people who manage the .nr domain names to provide people with free domain names.

This kind of extension is not desired and it is easy to find variants such as cc.cc

Its very hard to find sites offering free .com .org .net websites
