Moog synthesizer. :3
Anyway, since it's Father's Day and all, I'm going to be rather busy todat, and therefore won't be too active on here today. But tomorrow, I'll be sure to post my modified track listing based on your suggestions.
And about the logo, I actually opened up a topic in the Requests section, and we already have some outstanding submissions (including one from our very own jji). Around Monday our Tuesday (Wednesday at the latest), I'll choose the winner.

Why? I'm going to replicate the moog synthesiser with a perfectly matching keyboard voice.
I shall submit my own logo soon. I think it's very good. It is a bit compressed at the moment, but I will work on that.
@ Necromaster: Can I have your drum tracks by the end of Sunday (today for you) as promised (it's Monday for us here at the UK)?

Necromaster, have you done your drum tracks as promised?
Listen, I'm sorry I couldn't get on yesterday. I've been working as hard as I can on these tracks. Even though I'm homeschooled I have to take final exams, which I have to study for. When I signed up, I thought we were going to do a 4 min song, not a 16 min medley. I also have my other collaboration, which, as leader, I have to put as my top priority. I think, as I have so much stuff on my schedule (including a recital) it would be best for you guys to choose another drummer.

I really do want to work on this, but...

LOL, it's an ancient instrument.
XD Usually when I think of it, I'm reminded of The Moody Blues.

Aw, man. I understand, though. I know what it's like to have too much on your plate, so I understand that you would want to choose your own collaboration over this. Best of wishes on your own collaboration.
Meanwhile, after a bit of brainstorming, I came up with the basis for a new track listing that I promised would be posted today, with more emphasis on their later work. Again, feedback would be appreciated:
1. Here Comes the Sun
2. Hey Bulldog
3. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away
4. Think for Yourself
5. Lovely Rita
6. She Loves You
7. Strawberry Fields Forever (The acoustic demo version, as suggested by DIY.)
Regarding "Strawberry Fields Forever", I was listening to the demo version on the LOVE album, and I took a liking to the outro that George and Giles Martin created for it. I know it's a rather complex one that will require many overdubs, but do you think it would be possible to try and replicate this outro for our version of the song? If we were able to do that, it would be a terrific album closer, ending with a brilliant bang that will be like an explosion of the Beatles' music. If we can't do this, that's fine, too, because a solely acoustic version would be a pleasant and mellow album closer. Tell me what you think, DIY, about the album track listing, too.

Thanks so much. In fact, I barely have time to squeeze in work on my own. Thanks for understanding.

Darnit. Necromaster, I do understand your dilemma and respect your decision. It is not easy, I'm sure, as you are managing a collab of your own. You are a great drummer with great potential for the band (your recording quality is good and timing impeccable). It would be a waste of a good find to have you go. What do you think about extending the deadline of track submission to whatever date you're OK with? In that case, suggest any time during which you can cover the entire medley. Then I can receive your tracks, whether it be weeks from now.
@ All4one: Glad you put my suggestions of Hey Bulldog and Think For Yourself on the previous version of the list. We will be covering Here Comes the Sun anyway, so it is sensible to put it on the top since it starts side 2 of Abbey Road (in the LP releases). I believ You've Got To Hide Your Love Away was included in your original listing and I liked the idea, so was She Love You. I like the inclusion of Lovely Rita as it's one of the less complicating Pepper songs to do in terms of less overdubs (even without the minor overdubs, it will sound great). It has a great guitar intro and I've familiarised myself with it already and the piano solo as well. The instrumentation can become complex in certain parts of the song, but it should not be impossible to achieve. As for the Strawberry Fields Forever acoustic version I suggested, I'm glad you've gone ahead with the idea. In the LOVE album, I like the idea of the count off into the acoustic strumming, thus leading into the song, as done by John. That would be a perfect start for our version too. The LOVE album too in one point leads subtlely into the famous orchestral section (the part that was merged with the first half of the song, initially half-a-tone higher). This will be hard to achieve of course, but if you have the The Beatles Anthologies, I'd suggest you take a look at disc two of Anthology 2, that contains three demo takes of Strawberry Fields Forever. Each time I listen to it, the third one clearly stands out, but I think the second version is more practical for us to cover. Give it a listen and tell me what you think (if you have the anthologies). I agree though, if we can replicate the LOVE ending of Strawberry Fields Forever, it will be great!
Well then, there are my suggestions. I quite like this final track listing. Hope my suggestions are helpful!

Seems a good list. I don't know the song lovely rita tho, so I might not be able to help you with that.

You don't? It's a rather famous song of theirs'. Anyway, there are many songs of theirs' that I have self-taught myself on guitar, and as I mentioned before, I've already learnt this. I guess it should work out.

I think I remember a project with the song in it.
@DIY - Unfortunately, I only have Anthology 1. If I go album shopping soon, though, I'll try to remind myself to get a copy of Anthology 2.

Seems a nice song. Maybe I'll be familiar enough with it by the time we get to recording it

OK cool. They still sell the Anthologies in local US retail stores? I know there are plenty in the UK.
@ jji7skyline: As soon as the Abbey Road Medley is done, I'll be mixing Here Comes the Sun. Or more rather, while we wait for Necromaster, I'd think we might as well assemble all the tracks for HCTS since the drums are already complete. I need you to rerecord the guitar track, since your added effects sounded out-of-place and there were some clear mistakes that definitely could not make it into the final mix. Please could you do them soon?
Necromaster, please read this post )that I posted previously as well, yesterday) and tell me what you think of the idea. I'd be grateful if you decide to stay on:

Ok, since you want me to rerecord, can I have the drum tracks so I can play in time with it? It also helps me keep track. Thanks

Great to have you back on the team, Necro!
@jji - I was going to send you Necro's uploaded drum part, but it seems he deleted it. Do you think you could re-upload the project with the drum part for Here Comes the Sun, Necro?
@DIY - Yep. At pretty much every music store you go to, there are the Anthologies under the "Beatles" section.

Just play it to the same tempo of the song (that's what I told Necromaster to do). The drums don't begin right at the beginning of the song; there is a drum roll a while after the acoustic intro starts, and then it enters.
@ Necromaster: Glad to have you back! So can you start practising now, and then suggest a suitable time you can submit the tracks to the entire medley by. Also, remember to upload all tracks on SoundCloud (that includes the Here Comes the Sun drum track you already did).
@ All4one: Cool to know that they are still sold widely in America. The Beatles were a great hit in the USA (of course the phenomenon began in UK), so after all, it is understandable that the greatest rock band's records are still sold in a country where they made it big.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that on June 18th! Happy birthday, Paul! You're the one who got me interested in rock and roll in the first place! From the Walruses, have a rocking birthday!

Yeah. Great man. Legend. His and Lennon's partnership was the best we'll ever see.

So do I get to have the drums or what?
I'd prefer it to playing with the actual song whoch is what I did last time.

You can play to the actual song since Necromaster did that too, so the drum tracks are at the same tempo as the original song. If you want the drum tracks though, Necromaster's drum track link for 'Here Comes the Sun' should be on one of the previous pages of this thread. You can find it there.
As I mentioned earlier, don't add any effects as I can do that and see what's best when mixing. I noticed that the dynamics of your original recording weren't too good because some points were weak and others forte. Also, the guitar playing was very much staccato which doesn't suit the song in my opinion. Try to vary articulation only when necessary.
However, if you're used to playing the song that way, perhaps I could add reverb which will reduce the silent separation between each note.

I'll play with my dad's guitar, it has better treble and much better sustain than mine.
And yes, the dynamics are on purpose, if don't like them, you can suggest a better dynamics pattern if you like.
