Hello,
I am making a magazine called Scratchers' Monthly. It's going to have ads, interviews, reviews, news, etc. But I need YOUR help. I need all of the below:
Ads: Ads advertise projects or threads. I need about 5 of these.
Reviews: I will review projects you post here to go to Scratchers' Monthly. I will need about 2 of these.
News: I need the latest news around Scratch. Give a summary of the latest news, and a thread or project to prove the information is correct.
Interviews: I will interview anyone. Just notify me, and I will have you answer some questions. I need about 3 pages of Interviews.

Everyone who wants to be interviewed, please answer these questions:
How did you find about Scratch?
What do you like most about Scratch?
Would you like to be interviewed on Scratchers' Monthly again?
I need ideas for questions for later interviews.

How did you find about Scratch? Colem told me about it. He is a very good Scratcher. We are good friends in real life.
What do you like most about Scratch? Probably the community itself. I love all the people on Scratch.
Would you like to be interviewed on Scratchers' Monthly again? Yes, of corse. It is really fun, and if you're reading this, you should get interviewed!

Oh, and one last question for everyone:
Which do you like the most? (forums, wiki, main page)

Here's an idea for a way you should interview people if you're looking for inspiration as to what to ask for, oh and you can use it as an interview in your magazine too!

\\\\Coolhogs inserts an interesting title here, example\\\\ BORREGO6165 REJECTED SCRATCH, "A WAY TO CHEAT KIDS INTO PROGRAMMING" he says
So, how long have you been on scratch for?
Well, about a year now.
What made you get into scratch/ how did you find out about it?
Well I found out about it first at school, but at first I was quite reluctant to use it. I personally thought the program looked cheesy with a bright orange cat as a mascot and rainbow-coloured blocks; I thought that I would never come to love this style later on. It looked like a way to cheat kids into programming for me, as I thought it was trying to make programming look "hip" and "cool" in a bad way; until, as I said earlier that I became to love the style and the amazing scratch cat.
Another reason as well was that I wanted to continue making power-point games. I made skateboarding games, and rpg-platformer games where the character follows the cursor on screen. I actually released the engine but in scratch, and I am planning on remaking the power-point series for scratch.
What was it like making your earliest projects?
If I'm being honest, it was not too bad. Whilst I remember failing trying to make an air traffic controller game, which I have only recently remade and it turned out very popular, I found it fairly easy making a tycoon game where you manage the inside of the airport, named International Inc. I still kept it online as it's one of my favourites.
You see, I got used to scratch very easily; so within a month I managed to make my first of 3.5 (the 4th being made now) city games, but sadly it was VERY glitchy. So making my earlier projects was not too hard at all.
What part of scratch do you prefer most? (forums/wiki/main site)
Hmm... I'd say the forums. It's the only place where I can say I made a difference. There isn't really a way to help others on the main site, all you can do is showcase great projects and get really famous, and what classes as a "great" project depends on whether you mention mine-craft, Mario or Kirby within it.
However, on the forums only people providing a service get well-known, which is what I love about it. I do sometimes regret giving away my advert thread to people because recently I have started to miss it, but I'm glad that so many people are hopefully benefiting from it. Some day I will reach a thousand projects!
What is your most successful project and which one do you love the most?
Well my most successful one is Entertainment Inc, a cinema building game. I thought it was glitchy and had terrible graphics but it goes to show that if it's a simple game it will win the fans over. You know how morally you're meant to wait 6 months to get a project front paged? Well within the last 6 months I've had three projects curated, I'm glad people are noticing them.
The one I love the most has to be Rayman 4. Really it should be renamed Rayman 5 to avoid confusion with Rayman Origins, as many people have asked me "Did you design the levels yourself?" or "Did you do anything yourself?". All I did 'steal' was trademarked characters and items, so anything not recognisable from a Rayman game will not be from anywhere else. I personally thought the controls were responsive, and that the level designs were unique but I was blasted with trolling comments.
What are you planning on doing next?
I have a couple of things lined up. One is the competition of my new city game which will allow you to build on over 700 tiles and save them, with day/night modes and working factors such as pollution, crime, health, education, power/garbage/water capacity and even tourism. It's goanna be class and I hope for once I may get it featured. I have had loads of nominations in the past for various reasons, but scratch team keep rejecting them.
There are also plans to start-up a TV broadcasting network, which should hopefully be better than The Apprentice competition I ran, but now I'll have to be closing it. The Apprentice was goanna be the pilot episode to jump start the popularity of the broadcasting network, which a large collaboration would make many cartoons and over TV shows to ad to it, and there would be ad breaks to advertise people's projects.

Am I the next one, Borrego6165, who's going to run the Scratch Cat's Hideout? Since the Apprentice isn't working out?

Can you give me the original theme for it? I want the original posts for the Scratch Cat's hideout. I will add a little twists to it.
u mean my version before XenoK Eternity Inc-ified it? If that is what you're saying, you'll have to use my version as a template but go through EVERY advert on XenoK's thread to make sure you haven't missed off any projects added after I stopped running the thread.
Another problem is that you can't just quote up the whole of his thread and then copy and paste it onto a new thread, as XenoK split it into many newer threads so you'll have to go into each separate thread and transfer them onto yours, then change each advert to suit your style.
What I'll do is, I'll get all of the links and put them in a list without any of the extra garbage. Unfortunately you'll still have to:
1) Come up with some categories.
2) Go through all of the projects and put them into the categories.
3) As you're putting them into categories, seen as you'll have to play each one you might as well add any symbols to them if you plan on using symbols. It would be quicker to do it as you go along.
4) Decorate and manage the thread.

OK. That's what I mean: before he Eternity Inc-ified it. Yes, I know, I can't just quote up the whole thread. Can I make the thread, now?

Can you advertise this thread or this gallery?

How did you find about Scratch?
I found out about Scratch when my cousin told me about it! I spent aages on my first project which was a tank battle game against an AI tank! It was amazingly easy to pick it up!
What do you like most about Scratch?
I love the fact that it gives young people the chance to begin programming and meeting other programmers - Scratch served as a wonderful introduction to the other languages I now know and study and university - It'll always be my first love
Would you like to be interviewed on Scratchers' Monthly again?
Sure, if you've ever got any questions specifically for me I'll be happy to answer them!]
