Could someone create a Beatles-y band logo for "The Walruses"?

Currently, I've been working on setting up a Beatles tribute band on Scratch named "The Walruses" that will, by the looks of the progress we've been making, be releasing a single very soon. Now that we've come up with a band name, I was hoping, as manager, if someone could make a band logo for us?

If possible, I'd prefer the logo to be very Beatlesque - either resembling the Beatles' official "drop-T logo" or looking simply psychedelic. Very importantly, the logo must also fit nice in the corner of single/album covers. Additionally, it must also be able to fit in a sig.

Well, I must say the idea I had in mind was very much like trinary's. The thing is, when I started to create my logo during the weekend, an odd, unpleasant compression emerged on exporting from GIMP around the text. It has since been very hard to salvage as it would take up a lot of my time.

I was thrilled when I saw trinary's logo (which clearly has none of these issues), and immediately set about to edit it in what I thought would make it look better. The only difference between his and the one I had in mind was to extend the first line of the 'R' to make it look similar to the 'drop "T"' trademark. After a short while (with great thanks to trinary) I managed to create a good quality version of the idea I had in mind when the band first kicked off.

Here are my edits with the white on black text (most common in The Beatles' logos, but this has a few sharp edges I will fix later on if it makes it to the final logo) and white on black as well:

If people can't stick to their deadlines, I don't see why we should go after them.

I believe that you have already extended angelica's deadline, so voting can commence.
