I'm away from home for a while, and all I have with me is my acoustic, so I'll record any songs that can be done on an acoustic guitar, and I'll do the electric parts when I get back.

Techno, I listened to the edit of my song again and I think it is fabulous as it is. In that case, we will extend the end guitar solo to 16 bars as agreed, with a fade-out. If you do come up with a tune to the female interlude, do post it on your score. I have already copied the edit you made of my song and saved it as another score under my account, so we have it in place with the other completed songs. The rest is fine. Meanwhile, I myself will try to come up with a melody for the female interlude, but keep working. I will add lyrics for the female and male interludes later.

Well, when I improvise lead guitar I tend to resort to pentatonics with some bluesy chromatic variations quite a bit... If you need an example of my lead playing, check out my year-old song "Trip to the Ol' Country" - the solo is near the end. I find my style has improved since then, but it's still very simplistic like the solo there.

I suppose a lead on pentatonic scale will do good with some bluesy lead for the G-Major ballad. If you are able to come up with a solo guitar like that for this song (I can't quite decide upon one), I don't mind handing over the lead guitar parts in this song to you (that may include additional licks). Do you suppose you could transcribe a lead guitar part on Noteflight?

My priorities right now are recording decent lead for my own songs over writing a lead part for your song.    If I have time, I'll work on your song. Tomorrow I gotta record the lead tracks and on Sunday I have an archery tournament, so I'm not sure if I'll have much time. I'll do what I can, still.

Archery training used to be mandatory in the UK some centuries ago, I'm pretty sure you know I know that lol 

I'm still a begginer, the tournament is more of a thing between students at my school who also take classes. I can shoot decently at 10 meters as of now    Just some minor accuracy issues, that's all.

Wow! I definitely know the sport somewhat, but have never played it as it is hardly offered as a sport here. Good luck in the tournament.

Yeah. In the UK, we mainly have football, cricket, basketball and sometimes netball (for the girls). Of course, we do athletics as well (I'm part of the school squad) and swimming is done externally.

What other sports are there in Chile?

Marcelo Ríos in 1998, the fact that it was more than 10 years ago might be why you don't recall it.

Right, that's why I don't recall him. For a moment, I thought you were talking about Fernando Gonzalez (who retired in March this year) but the highest he was ever ranked was fifth, although he did defeat Federer, Nadal & Djokovic (the former when he was #1 in the world).

Anyway, I thought of recording some of my own tracks today as well. I'll try to get everything done soon enough. Meanwhile, I'm transcribing more song ideas, which I'll have to do on another account since Noteflight only allows ten scores per user.

And there's no hurry, but when you have the time, could you transribe that pentatonic scale for the G-Major Ballad?

EDIT: Your song does not have a bass line yet and I presume has been left incomplete. The tune is OK, a bit simple in my humble opinion. Maybe add some complex bass fills?

Also, I really need you to spend time on recording. I've only got one drum track from you for the album (I had to take over drums for my opening song since I had recorded all the other parts and it was left incomplete without the essential drum work). I'm fine with you transcribing so long as you can manage to record like techno and I. Currently, I have piano for Out of the Possible and my Am Song just to do. The rest of my other recording duties are complete, and techno has submitted bass to all the completely transcribed songs. Even hpotter134 (who is hardly active here) went on a recording spree and managed to submit a bunch of recordings. I'm awaiting tracks from you to get a few more songs complete.

You mentioned a while back that you will start practising and submit the recordings soon. I presume you're done now?

DIY, you should add hpotter134's song to the first post. Speaking of which, I noticed hpotter progressed quite a bit on the song, we just need some lyrics and it'll be done. I've mentioned before that it's a bit out of our style, but it's turning out to be a really good song, definitely worth recording. The vocal harmonies will be fun to do too    Maybe I and hpotter sing the lower melody, while LolaRose sings the high one.

EDIT: I just counted all the song ideas and complete scores we currently have: 12. Considering we'll most likely leave some out, we currently have more that enough for an album
