I have an idea for a dystopian allegory. It is set in a hi- tech society where humans have been deprived of all emotions. There is a huge plutocratic government called Pear Inc. (thought I might get sued for using Apple Inc.) and has invented the Pear i-pod. Humans have become so advance, they are cyborgs that lack free will and worship the company. I am trying to make a statement about our technological advances and where society is headed. There is irony in this story because Adam and Eve fell because they ate an apple, and our generation fell to Apple Inc.
Tell me what you think.

Are you trying to antagonize advances in science?
(Also, our generation did not fall to Apple.)

I know, I say they WILL fall to Apple. I have no problem with advancing technology, I just think we rely on it too much.

That isn't irony.

Um...okay.
I have a dystopian idea. After a devastating war, most of the world was deemed unsustainable for human life, and there are large megacities protected by metal domes called "Sanctuaries", where the last humans live. But it turns out that the citizens are being manipulated by deceptions transmitted through them by means of propaganda. Also, it turns out that there may be a much darker truth behind the Sanctuaries.
How's that?
