We have the image service because when LS97 learned that the Scratch team allowing images, he saw that Mod Share was on the list of allowed hosts.
Anyway, we will only allow people who we trust to use the image service.
Also, you can now still view images even if the site is down for maintenance.

Yeah, we received some complaints for that, and I implemented a little fix.
