what do you mean?
if you mean add people to your friends list you go to their userpage and click "add as a friend"

If you would like to add the person to your list of friends first go to their userpage by clicking on their name (you can test with me 
) and there should be a button that says "add to friends" next to their icon or blue scratch cat thing. Click on that button. Then it will say "[username] will be notified." Press okay. It might take a minute for them to load onto your friends list. Then you should be able to go to your "My Stuff" page and see them on your friends list.
