You should give a description of why you want to be one.

Take this from a past curator, your speech is too short. Try to give more information about the types of projects you want to curate, why you've wanted to be a curator, and talk about things that you have contributed to the Scratch Community. Something that will kill your speech is "I want to be a curator because I am famous" so try to avoid that

I would like to become a curator.
As curator, I would probably curate mainly platformers and simple games that deserve more recognition, though I have a fondness for animations with good walk-cycles and lip-syncing. I also have a strange liking for projects with one-sprite sensing or zoom-scrolling, and would probably nominate some of those as well.
I hope you consider me for this position, because I know exactly what kind of projects I would like to curate, and few of those projects have seen the glory of the front page in a while. I would like to show the people of scratch that there is more to the site than what they usually see on the front page every day, and add a bit more variety to the site!

i dont think i would be a good curator but i know dab1998 would if only he were a bit more active

Please can I become a curator?
I will not curate projects that are already famous or front paged, but I will curate other projects which are really good, but don't have enough views. I will not curate my projects.
I will curate a project if it is:
1. Not violent, rude or offensive
2. No bugs online
3. Are made by non-famous scratchers
4. Very epic!
Thanks!

I would like to be curator because I think that there are a lot of brilliant, yet sort of undiscovered projects out there. I would represent the Scratch community and try to get my absolute favorite projects up on the home page. I think a lot of people deserve to be recognized for their work. I would do just that.

I'd love to become a scratch curator. When my friend's project got curated, he told me that he was getting lots of views and love-its. Some projects deserve that type of attention, but sadly, some of them of them didn't. If I were to become curator, I would pick projects that have humor, are addicting, fun to play and all of the above over people just telling me to curate projects. I will also curate animations, as they are just as creative and thoughtful as games. The projects I've seen that I think deserve curating are http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/snuggybear/2569480, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/lhlien/2598343, and http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/pwned95/1791083

Guess who the next curator's gonna be... Ps. Paddle2See said that he already has a bunch of people in line, so if you get chosen, you probably can't do it for a while! (like August or something) Just saying...

Hi, my name is schusteralex2and I would love to help the scratch community by becoming a curator.
One of my favorite things to do on the scratch website is to look through the surprise channel for new and innovative projects that are not already famous. The amount of great projects that are out there but unheard of is overwhelming, and I would like to help these great projects get the fame that they deserve. I would curate a wide range of projects, but I especially like versions of real games programmed into scratch, but with new and innovative features. For example, a battleship game but with new types of ammunition, or a version of pac-man with new powerups. I also would curate games that have a new and innovative style of gameplay or objective. I would not only curate games though. I enjoy projects where a sprite draws objects, such as trinary's Drawn-Flight. I have suggested many projects to be featured also, and one was actually featured: Soduku. I would not curate any projects that have been on the front page within the last 6 months, have more than 100 views, or 20 love-its. I would add a new project every day to make sure many people got a chance to be front-paged, and I would try to find projects by new scratchers to curate so that they would be encouraged to create more projects. Thank you for considering me, and Scratch On

Hello,
I am here to apply to be a Curator. Ever since my "Scratch Homepage Tour" project was curated, I looked in to curators a little bit more. As I looked in, I've always wanted to become one.
I would curate quite a variety of projects:
- Games
- Animations
- Simulations
- And much more!
That's pretty much the pattern that goes along in my favorites. I would also curate projects with not much views (but projects that definitely deserve it) a chance to be on the front page.
Please consider me, and Scratch On!

It might be fun to be a curator. I don't do so much favoriting but I sure favorite quite random projects, I'm pretty much on scratch all day. I have a weird family... (you don't want to know XD) I might be favoriting some very weird projects without much views (My cousin) But I will favorite those great projects waiting so long to be seen.
I LOVE scratch so much I even told it to my teacher most of my friends and tried to convince some family (It worked with 2 people) And they like it. This could be a good chance for my friends! I might favorite a couple simple projects but to me their AWESOME! But I'll try my best not to be TOO random. Thank you! If so...

Sorry, but you can't be a curator until you are a scratcher on the forums! When you are, you can look here! Bye!
