Re: Lucid Dreaming

I usually don't try to lucid dream; I just occasionally become aware, and when that happens, I quickly let myself lose it again. I prefer to see what my brain can come up with, and when I become lucid for any amount of time, I can usually remember the entire dream - even the parts before I become lucid!
Fascinating topic.

Re: Lucid Dreaming

I hardly ever wake up remembering I had a dream.

Re: Lucid Dreaming

I get all sorts of funky dreams, but i rarely have alucid dream. Its like I am aware of it, but I can't control it or something, or i am just semi- aware.

I get that a lot too. I lose awareness quickly, or I'm only half aware, usually because I'm being chased by Daleks or something else intense is going on.

The times I've had true lucid dreams have been when I've been able to really stop myself and focus on some detail, like how incredibly realistic the texture of a wall is. Or if I dream that I've woken up, but then something impossible happens, like I fall over and find myself floating, and think "Wow, I'm flying!!! Wait, no, I must be asleep still."

Re: Lucid Dreaming

Once it happened to me! It was cool! I actually tried to wake myself up, but I couldn't. I was just like in my dream - "Cool, now Imma try wake me up!" But I couldn't do it XD

Re: Lucid Dreaming

I have random dreams about getting lost inside of schools or daycares where it is like a labyrinth.

Other times I get Harvest Moon:AWLSE dreams where I guy fell through my crop field and died. And then Farmer Jack visited a carnival

Re: Lucid Dreaming

Sometimes I have control, but mostly I know I'm dreaming but can't control it. I'd like to Lucid dream. It'd be like powerplaying an RPG.  smile
I can also, if I know that I'm dreaming, wake up at anytime. Or, if I know I'm dreaming, I may want to keep dreaming but wake up once I realize I'm dreaming. It's complicated   tongue

Re: Lucid Dreaming

I tried to wake myself up this morning, but the government shot me with a mind-freeze ray, so I couldn't.

Yeah, I can discover I'm dreaming easily but I've only lucid dreamed twice.
