You also shouldn't create a new account if your old one was banned.
Look at the reason in this sample ban.

You should also read Lightnin's post on the procedure for banning a user.

My post wasn't exactly steps, but yeah, it contains useful info.

Also, from looking around a bit, it doesn't even look like AllSparkCube is banned (user title in forums is "Scratcher" and not "Banned" and I can still access his/her projects).

And, I haven't been banned. I plan to keep it that way.

The title is still Scratcher (it hasn't been Banned since like 2007) and you can still see banned users' projects.

Oh, ok. So there's no way of knowing if a user is banned or not? (unless you're the user, of course)
