I'm glad to see that you think Scratch makes you smarter - I agree with you there! You can learn a lot about logical thinking trying to get your Scratch projects to do what you want them to do.
I think Scratch is also about fun and the joy of making stuff and sharing it with friends - I hope you do too 
What kind of projects do you enjoy the most?
