Non-existent recent post?

I was going through the Scratch forums when I saw there was a new post by coolhogs.
http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg4/scaled.php?server=4&filename=screenshot20120611at533.png&res=landing.
I pressed announcements and I got this:
http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg189/scaled.php?server=189&filename=screenshot20120611at534.png&res=landing
No coolhogs.
I refreshed several times and it still didn't show a post by coolhogs in Announcements.
3 minutes later and still no post by coolhogs.

I'm using Safari on a 2006 (I think) mac mini. I cleared my cache during those 3 minutes and it still didn't show up (I reseted safari for all of you who use mac and know what that means).

Re: Non-existent recent post?

I didn't delete the post. It does that to me. What a honor to be stuck in the Announcements forum.  tongue

May I use that image for future references?
It's fixed.
Can you put those together?

That happens a lot when a post is moved to a different location (in this case, the post is missing because it got moved to the Dustbin). For some reason, the forum post list doesn't update properly when a post is moved to a new location, so sometimes it looks like there's a "ghost post".

Well, according to the record I have, you did, but then the post got moved to the Dustbin by one of the moderators.

What was the post? Can you give me a link to it? Or at least an image?

Well, it's the Dustbin so there's no way to give a link. And I'd rather not give an image because it's unnecessary huge. It was a quotation of a very lengthy HTML script with not much to contribute to the forum topic, that is probably why it got removed.

Are you talking to me about that? You can freely use those images, I don't know what you want...

Either it didn't update, or it got moved after the index loaded and before they left the page. That's happened to me before i was a mod.

Re: Non-existent recent post?

Posts travel through other links first, leaving a ghost post.  yikes
