I am having a workshop in Scratch in three weeks and I would really like to add photos of real people and transform them in to sprites.
I have played a little with a photo in the paint area - but the result was not very good. I can see some examples sprite which look like real people so I know it must be possible.
Please - if you have any experience in transforming a photo into a sprite - let me know the best way to do it.

You could import the photo as a sprite. You could also use Scratch's webcam, but it sounds like that didn't work.
The example sprites were all drawn; they're not photos.

Just save the photo as a .png or another file scratch can read and import it as a costume.
P.S. If you have Gimp, MS Paint or Photoshop, you can edit the file in there. Because the Scratch drawing program isn't the best.
