I think this could be a new forum section. It would be for things only partially related to Scratch, or things related to Scratch that cannot fit anywhere else.
Examples of threads that could go here:
- Games regarding Scratch projects, such as getting certain scores on certain projects on the website
- Competitions
- Scratch project discussion that cannot fit into any other category, such as suggestions on a particular project that don't qualify as 'Project Ideas'
This would also reduce spam, as it would fix force-fitting topics into the Scratch Forums. So, in other words, it is like a Misc forum that only allows topics DIRECTLY related to Scratch.
What do you think?

I don't support because if it doesn't fit, the Scratch Team doesn't want it or it'll fit somewhere else.

777w, do you support?
funelephant, there have been several occasions where I have asked where a thread should go (related to Scratch), and they said it was a very good idea but doesn't fit anywhere. This solves that problem.

In that case, I think that the word "partially" is not the right word.

Maybe something to help to divide AT and TiMaC.

Yes, but if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit.

Well, that's a very rude reply. We're still required to be respectful even if we disagree on points or ideas; remember the Community Guidelines.

I could imagine any of these topics going into Show and Tell, maybe the competition one going into Collaborations if the need calls for it.
I can't quite envision other Scratch-related threads that don't fit around here on the forums. Could you give other examples, perhaps link to them?

I didn't mean to make it sound that rude.

Why would this be necessary?
Did you even READ it.

the first one could basically go in the TBG Forums. The second one would also go there, unless the competition is in a series of projects, which can go in collaborations. The third one, make a thead about it, and ask for suggestions, or search for a thread corresponding to that project and make a suggestion. There's also always the comments!

I'm with cheddargirl on this. I can't think of any topics that wouldn't fit somewhere on the forums or main site.
