metric and imperial varies in Britain, We do almost everything in metric (apart from large distances)
Always strange how fuel consumption is measured in MPG(Miles Per Gallon) but fuel is now always sold in litres?
always annoying how chrome spell checks in american it changes litres to liters and colour to color and metre to meter
if you choose to download in "english (britan)" or whatever i think all that goes away

Actually, it's the Americans and Canadians (and I think New Zealanders) that have the problem (I'm Canadian ). The rest of the world call it football.Yeah, but that's a massive population.
Nothing like the population of the rest of the world though.
That's true.
I'm pretty sure it's the largest percentage of English speakers though.

Probably. But other languages use similar to Football for "soccer". For example German is like "fusball" or something.

(We spell it right, don't worry! I'm ruining the jokes above this.)

Hello all, my name is gbear605, and recently chose to revise an idea that NZPhoenix made long, long ago (like back in July 2011!). His idea was that since most of the wiki's information is out of date, incorrect, or not detailed enough, he should make his own wiki where the information would be entirely correct (Or at least as close as possible). Anyone could submit their own research and ideas, but the data would then be checked for accuracy. Unfortunately, he disappeared from the minecraft forum about 2 months after starting it, and his website soon after went down. I have created my own version of his site, called Minecraft University. Here, you can submit your own research, give people ideas for research, showoff your mods, and show off your redstone creations. We also plan to have in-depth guides on almost anything you can do in minecraft. I hope that you will come visit, and maybe stay a while. See you there, --gbear605.
Site URL: http://minecraft.escratch.org (Note: we are going to get our own domain as soon as possible!)
This is a repost of something I posted on the minecraft forums. And yes, the site does have scratch team permission.

In the US it's spelled liter, meter, and color. And Britain not Britan.

*EH HEM*
I hate having to find endermen when I'm on a survival island map
It takes forever to get mobs to spawn on a little island off to the side.

They only have to be 24 blocks away. Sometimes lots of things spawn.

I finally won a Hunger Games match! The last guy was a noob, so I tried to "team up with him". When I found him, he didn't even have full iron armor.

Was looking through some old screenshots on minecraft and I found a nice house I built in February.

Spider jockeys have the exact same speed as the player not sprinting.

Yeah, but when you put the pig in a minecart, it slows it down a lot. The potions speed it up.
