Hello! I'm the person who posted Contra vs. Call Of Duty (Contra won).
I took some advice from a post on that forum to do 2 fps games, an example was Goldeneye N64 vs. Call Of Duty, so why not?
I'd pefer Goldeneye because it being original and the first good console fps.

I prefer later goldeneye. Maybe do Goldeneye 64 v Goldeneye Wii?

It seems that everything you post is a snowclone. × vs. Call of Duty, more like it.
Anyway, Goldeneye.

Never heard of Goldeneye?!
That's like saying you've never heard of Wolfenstien, or Doom, or uh um Maze Wars!
You disgrace first person shooters.

WOW! NEVER EVER heard of Goldeneye 007 for the N64! That was a bit wierd! I see there is a big argument here. Let me join in. CylonToast thinks that cause' 2 people don't know what it is that we can't point fingers at who doesn't know anything about fps games, well we can.

Hey!
Advertising a topic on other topics makes you look bad!
Other people can already see it!
Also, Goldeneye!

Goldeneye, but Half Life trumps.

Never liked console FPSes, it's impossible for me to aim with a joystick. So pretty much only for that, I'm going with the original Call of Duty, considering the PC version. Not any of the Modern Warfare games though, the first three were the best. >:c
Though if you were to consider a console version of Call of Duty instead, I can't say much since I haven't even played either of the games in their respective consoles.

Is this a trick question?
Goldeneye was released at a time when gamers would actually 'get together' to play games rather than troll each other via WI-FI. I have fond memories of me elbowing best friends in the face (I was a good friend) bunched up on a sofa that had way too many food scraps on it (I eat and game... just me?).
Goldeneye was (and is) the most satisfying multiplayer game I've ever played.
CoD cannot compare.

Good point, it's two games released at totally different times.
