Hi, guys.
I recently submitted my project to the Scratch Design Studio. It had been about 3 days, and the views on my project have increased dramatically, yet no matter how many times I look, I can never seem to find it under the Design Studio section of the front page. Why is this?
Thanks to everyone who answers!

Well, there's only three projects shown at a time on the frontpage. Considering there's probably over a hundred projects in it, it's not surprising it hasn't appeared (it chooses three random ones). It will eventually if you keep refreshing.

As, Redrocker says.
For one user it may be hard to see it, but for thousands, many are bound to see and click on it. So, it's there; but it's just one of many that are trying to get their front page shot.
I've looked into your account (I'm an SDS curator) and I don't see that more than one project have been added to the gallery, (which could cause the system to automatically take both off the front page).

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite sure what you mean

Plainly, the more projects there are in SDS galleries, the less chance that you'll see it on the front page.

Check the gallery and you will see your project.

That happened to me too. I never saw mine on the front page, and kept seeing the same projects on there, staying there after I had refreshed it most of the time. I think out of 10 refreshes, one SDS project was on the front page 5 times. There were 7 pages of projects too in the gallery.

Well then whoever made that project is one lucky person.

Yah, it doesn't seem exactly fair to me either. I once refreshed a bunch of times and cataloged the results to show that 5 of the total 30 projects were getting about 60% of the displayings on the home page. Maybe I should make a project to display how never it is?

Unless they've been lying and they've specifically coded it so that it's not random and favours certain projects, then it is fair, just some people are more lucky than others. You'd be bound to have the same project appear multiple times in a row if you refreshed enough, it'd be impossible not to.

Yes, I realize that if you flip a coin 50 times, it most likely won't be 25/25 heads and tails, even though that's what probability says. However, I've seen problems with the front page before, so it might not be working correctly.

The only way it would be not working correctly is if they made a mistake whilst programming it, because like I said,
unless they've been lying and they've specifically coded it so that it's not random and favours certain projects, then it is fair, just some people are more lucky than others.

I saw your game in the gallery. Look through the pages and you'll find it!
