Increase signature max length
Since signatures are already cut off at 150px, they should be allowed to be longer than 400 characters.
I often have trouble fitting all of the links and images I need in my signature, even after using URL shorteners.
Does anyone else support this?

That is true, why is the character limit still ther if there is already a size limit? ST? Mods? Does someone have the answer?

There's probably a reason, although that reason may be they just never bothered to change it.

I agree, I've never understood why there's both a 150 pixels and a 400 characters limit when 400 characters most likely won't be close to 150 pixels.

It's because of trolls in the early forums. Many Scratchers suggested 150 pixels because it would help prevent further trolls.

I think I may know a reason:
Say some spammer was coming on scratch, and s/he somehow became a scratcher. If there was an unlimited number of characters available, then the SEO you could get away with would be unfathomable. Simply put the links in nvisible text, and poof! Instant SEO, and it is not easily seen. After all, it's invisible, and text does not take up much room.

With this suggestion I made, you wouldn't need to have a 400 char. rule because there would be a scrollbar.
