I didn't think that 5th Cell would ever be able to create a sequel to Super Scribblenauts with even more content, but they did. Scribblenauts Unlimited will be the 3rd game in the Scribblenauts series. It features a storyline, a new design for Maxwell and, of course, even MORE items. They're going to put more memes in there as well. I saw the trailer, and by looking closely at the background around the 0:10 mark, I saw a Nyan Cat. So, Nyan Cat's going to be in the game! Those of you who have been following my posts on the Scratch forums (or have been reading my signature) can easily figure out what I want to be in the game (And no, it's NOT sausage-related!).
The game will come out on the 3DS, the Wii U and the PC.

i heard youll be able to create your own items, the nyan cat could be a merging of a cat and some word that means the same thing as poptart

Using a Wii right now, so I can't.
But check out this trailer for the 3DS version of the game. Nyan Cat appears in the background on the right section of the screen among several other items at 0:10, then eventually gets scrolled off the right side of the screen at 0:15. It should be easy to notice; the pop-tart body and the small cut-off rainbow behind it causes it to stand out from the other objects in the background.

It's already stated in the first post, but Scribblenauts Unlimited will be available for 3DS, Wii U and the PC.
Of course, they're gonna make the Wii U version better than the 3DS version so they can get more money... -_-
