Steamer - A Java-like intermediate language

Contents:
1. What is Steamer?
2. Why is it called that?
3. How can I help?

What is Steamer?
Steamer (currently only a concept) is a Java-like text-based programming language, designed to help kids (and people who just can't seem to get beyond Scratch) learn concepts frequently used in text-based languages. Similar to Java, there will be an IDE for programming with it, as well as a separate compiler for those who don't like IDEs. I'd like it to be programmed in Scratch, but if need arises, we could change that.
Why is it called that?
A steamer is a drink made of steamed milk and flavoring (usually caramel). Steamers are sold at some coffee shops. Steamer is Java-like, so I figured I'd have a coffee-ish name.
How can I help?
We need at least one person who is fluent in Java, as well as people to give ideas.
