GP1, I'm gonna work on a real primitive word processor right now in Java. For now, it'll only be able to change fonts permanently (meaning you can have different sections in different fonts)
Cool! Also, do you use Eclipse for your Java IDE? If so, do you use Eclipse Classic?
@Everybody
I'm working on forums for the developer site, so you can talk about languages and creating programs for Macrobit!
I use Eclipse for Java Developers.
I'm pretty sure Eclipse Classic works just as well.

Do you happen to have the Android SDK? You can create Android apps, and you write them in Java. You need an Eclipse IDE, but Eclipse Classic works the best. If you don't have it, you should really consider it.

What type of Java do you have? (JRE/JDK 6, 7, etc; 64-bit or 32-bit?)
And what error comes up?

I don't know. I got my hands on a different version of Eclipse. Now I just need to learn Java.

I see no reason not to. However, giving my reasons, can Macrobit "own" Carbonsoft? I don't mean that Macrobit would tell Carbonsoft what to do, or take their money, etc. I just think that Macrobit will be a bigger hit than Carbonsoft, although I think that Carbonsoft does have a lot of potential. But, if you prefer, I will just have Macrobit and Carbonsoft team up, and neither of us will own each other. Its your call.
As for you, what languages do you know? If you are high in electronics and/or math, just say so. And then, I would also like to know what operating system you primarily use (Windows, Ubuntu, Mac, Solaris, etc.). I use Windows and Ubuntu, I use them about the same. I'm guessing you have Windows, since you have Panther.
And, if you haven't already, please sign up for the Macrobit developer program. If you need to contact me, email me at contact@macrobit.x11s.info.

Hey everybody! The Macrobit developer program has chat rooms, so you can chat about programming languages. The url is http://developer.macrobit.x11s.info/chat/, and you do need a developer account.

I don't think I'd let you own anything I have for free.

Yeah. I agree, but it doesn't hurt to try. I don't expect him to say yes, but if he does, then woohoo.

I saw your chat post. I look at all of them everyday and try to respond to keep the rooms alive
Are you good with a little problem solving?

@everyone
The glitch of having \ in front of quotes is fixed in chat rooms. I forgot to strip slashed out. And Chat rooms now display the time that the user posted.

I'm considering advertising you on BlueTetra. You see, I'm not going to make you buy it, I just think that this 'company' has lasted and has been active for quite a while. So, if you agree to let me advertise you, I will put up a few images and links to Macrobit.
Of course, you won't be able to 'own' it.

Okay. Its about the chat pages. I want to make an rss feed for chat rooms so users can subscribe, but the syntax of the chat rooms is:
<br />TIME||<img src="GRAVATAR URI" />USERNAME: CONTENT
and the syntax of rss I want is:
<title>USER Posted in the ROOM chat room</title> <description>WHAT THEY CHATTED</description> <link>http://developer.macrobit.x11s.info/chat/?room=ROOM</link>
I need help with trying to get the information from the chat files into rss format.
A chat room link is: http://developer.macrobit.x11s.info/chat/other.chat
Im using PHP, so PHP functions will be what I am using, if you want to know.
