Rest in Peace, Eduard Khil
Today, on June 4, 2012, Eduard Khil, better known as the Trolololol Guy, died of a stroke in a St. Petersburg hospital.
Despite this sad occurrence, he will never truly die. He has been immortalized through the internet.
And so, I dedicate this thread as a memorial to Eduard Anatolyevich Khil.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

Not really.
And it's not a different language. He was Russian and wrote a song, but was told he couldn't use the lyrics because it depicted an American Lifestyle so he just sang "Trolololo" to the tune.
So he's well known for being an artist?

Rest in peace, Eduard. You were a youtube hero. I will never forget the first time I saw you trololololol.

Heard about him being in coma, and about his death yesterday... He may be known mostly by what might not be his best song, or his most serious one, but one could still notice he was an amazing singer back in his day. May he rest in peace.
