Flash and ActionScript!

Recently, I began learning ActionScript and Flash.

What do you think of Flash?

I like flash, because despite it being proprietary software, there is currently no alternative  tongue

Flash to me, is one of the best ways to create interactive sites and application (games) (other than scratch) because of its nice GUI, i currently am using Flash CS5 Professional and i am loving it!

Uh, not true? HTML5/JavaScript is an alternative, as well as Microsoft's Silverlight.
