I like the idea, but it would be rather unattractive and annoying in my mind. Think about it, I use a trackpad, and scrolling down/up a page can get annoying with tons of smaller scroll bars on the page. Also, it would be kinda unattractive if you consider a thread with multiple posts by one user with an over sized signature.

It wouldn't turn it off for other peoples' signatures though. A userstyle would.

Pros:
-Signatures aren't chopped off in the middle if they're too large.
-We could use any image we wanted in our signature.
-We wouldn't need to have the 400 character rule anymore, because walls of text would have a scrollbar.
Cons:
-If you wanted to see someone's whole siggy, you'd have to scroll down.

How about a option to block user siggys so a unbelivable long one you could block it!

maybe a opton link next to the report butten so you could hide their siggy , cut it off or simply remove it that means you can remove it even when they change  it. So the scroll bar could have a opton to remove it and a if it is not removed it will have a modarn scroller


So if they are the optons I sorport!

But there already are options that allow you to hide user signatures, under profile > Display and uncheck that.

I believe s/he means you should be able to hide a signature belonging to a specific user only, not everyone (which I don't agree with).
