I suggest there should be a little more to the last edited thing, specifically the text above.

Example:
From Last edited by asdfasdf (Today 12:34:56)
to Last edited by asdfasdf (Today 12:34:56), edited 2 times in total

I see this on other forums, and it's handy to know how many times an edit happened. scratchbb anyone?

I don't think it's supportable by the forum unless it were to * the edited by thing at the end of every post, which you could just delete then and wouldn't update

I don't get what you mean. You can't remove the editedby thing anyway.
