Hi, I created Wacky Races where you race against another player or the computer for fun with some fun features (banana skins / parrots etc ...). I've seen some interest in scratch of Formula 1 games, and I'm converting Wacky Races in that direction.
Which is better - serious fun or serious racing ?
Answers here please ... ???

Why not make a serious fun racing game?

Ok Videogame9, I'll make it seriously fun !
I've already created Wacky Races ; http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AddInnovation/2355265 which is a little unpolished (the track is a bit rough and there's no front screen), but it has mad features like a parrot bonus, and a banana costume you can change to to leave slippy bananas on the track.
I was looking to remix it into a formula 1 game with KERS, DRS, tyres and fuel which run down and require pit stops.
I'll keep plenty of fun features in, and I think I'll take off the pit lane and replace it with on screen random bonuses (as in Wacky Races). Maybe I'll keep on developing Wacky Races in parallel and add missile bonuses etc...
Ideas always welcome.

I've played that too many times, in short I don't like it

Any suggestions anyone have will be warmly welcomed (rather than just saying I don't like it). I've added some cool sounds so far (including Murray Walker of course).
Sounds like Wacky Races was fun enough for someone to play too many times at least !
