I had this idea to have lots of people together making up a language. How it works is first I'll post a few words, then if you have ideas you can quote it and add more/change some. So slowly the language will develop, until it's huge. I'm thinking of making it slightly similar to english but not much.
Write them like this:
English word: Made-up word [Pronunciation]
Eg.
Table: Tahfri [Ta-free]
Here's a few words to start off:
Hello: Hefra [Hef-rah]
Hi: Hef [Hef]
Goodbye: Dugnai [Dug-ny]
Bye: Nai [Ny]
Good: Dug [Dug]
Bad: Dugal [Dug-al]
Yes: Yih [Yee]
No: Al [Al]
Just add more words on when you feel like it. If enough people do this we could give the language a name too, and even start saying basic sentences in this language.
Current words:
Hello: Hefra [Hef-rah]
Hi: Hef [Hef]
Goodbye: Dugnai [Dug-ny]
Bye: Nai [Ny]
Good: Dug [Dug]
Bad: Dugal [Dug-al]
Yes: Yih [Yee]
No: Al [Al]
Maybe: Maz [Maz]
Aunt: Opaz [Oh-Pass]
Uncle: Vernk [Fern-k]
Niece: Kinfe [Kine-fuh]
Nephew: Poage [Poa-jee]
Mother: Brefa [Bree-fah]
Father: Brofa [Broa-fah]
GrandMother: GaBrefa [Ga-Bree-Fah]
GrandFather: GaBrofa [Ga-Broa-Fah]
Fire: Fwago [Fwah-go]
Flame: Fwae [Fwah-y]
Problem: Problemo [Prob-lame-oh]
House: Mihce [Ma-ice]

Why do we need another language, anyway? It'll just be confusing.

This is a really confusing language. Though I will find time to study it. But anyways, I just figured out how to make rainbow text. Cool! To do this, go to tektek.org. Oh yeah. None of you could be this. Oh yeah!

Oh cool I might make a website that translates English to this! And vice versa, of course.

One does not simply, make up a language.
Especially when you just change words. You need to change the structure of the grammar too, and the sounds the characters make. You need to establish roots and suffixes to use in more complex words. Otherwise its not very unique.
