Erm, since it's my base code, do you mind naming it something more like "Eternity Incurakai & DragonThunder: SCRATCHTML5," or something like that.

Add 1 thing--a project. Unfortunately, only Scratch Alpha projects work on it.

I thought that Scratch 2.0 would be compatible with Scratch 1.4 and lower projects.  If this was based on the flash viewer in Scratch 2.0 Alpha, it should play earlier versions of Scratch.

Re: Eternity Incurakai & DragonThunder: SCRATCHTML5

2.0 can do both. If you got a copy of the alpha *coughcough*http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic … 2#p1250082*coughcough*, there is a menu option that allows importing projects (sb and sb2) and exporting them to sb2 (the file format SCRATCHTML5 can read, currently)

Re: Eternity Incurakai & DragonThunder: SCRATCHTML5

ok.  Then, what we need to do is start on the HTML5 editor.

Re: Eternity Incurakai & DragonThunder: SCRATCHTML5

I'd prefer to finish some of the code above--it doesn't support much of anything. But I agree, an HTML5 editor is a must. We should probably mimic the layout of 2.0, and we should use my player as the player in the upper left corner.

What order are we doing things in? Also, how experienced are you in HTML5? Squeak? (to mimic some of the more complex blocks)

No, not that one. This one is in active development.

Re: Eternity Incurakai & DragonThunder: SCRATCHTML5

I downloaded it, but the html file doesn't say much on how to load a project. The core.js file says something about a "Pong/project.json" file.

It uses 2.0 project files. If you are lucky enough to get a .sb2 fil, change it's extension to zip, and extract it. In core.js, there is a global variable file name, currently Pong, and change that to the folders name. But it's rather limited as of now.
