Does it take you back to index.php but not actually log you in? That happened to me the very first time I tried to log in on the new domain, but ever since it's been fine.

If so, it may be a cookies problem, try clearing them.

Yeah, Cheese, what happens when you login?

And, if you don't have cookies enabled (like you only allow cookies from visited sites), it'd just not log you in.
