It is mostly closed. Good at first, now demolished. You should make one

Hey Juzzy, if you are interested, you can set up a critique group as a way to join together with other new Scratchers (it's okay if you are a beginner!).  You can share your projects and give each other feedback - kind of like show-and-tell.

If you would like to set up a group, you could start by creating a gallery page.  This will give you a space where you can post announcements to your group and where they can post projects and reviews of each others projects.

To create a gallery, go to your MyStuff page and scroll to the bottom.  Look on the left hand side under galleries and click on "Create"

Then, after you have created your gallery, you can post a link to it in the "New Scratch Members" forum here: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewforum.php?id=31

Pretty soon you will have other new Scratchers joining your group to share projects.

For more information and advice on how to manage your group, you should check out the Critique Group Leaders forum discussion here: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=7731

Any experienced scratchers are welcome to join my critique group on the basis that they contribute both projects and critiques.  Currently you can get very helpful advice here but we need some more members

Aparently, people are STILL getting feedback in Ultimate Feedback, but... I didn't got any... And I'm critiquing others' peoples projects too!

Critique Groups
The worst feeling in the world is to pour your hard work and creativity into a project only to have it ignored completely by the Scratch community.   The problem is not that the Scratch community doesn’t care.  In fact this is one of the most vibrant and positive communities I’ve seen online.  The problem is that we are all overwhelmed with the number of new projects.

Joining a small critique group (5-7 members) will give you valuable feedback on your projects.  Members of your group can highlight what is great about your project and suggest ways to improve it. In addition, the act of critiquing other peoples work can be one of the most powerful ways to punch your own skills to the next level.

If you are new to Scratch, look through the list of open groups below.
1. Find a group that feels like a good fit and is currently accepting members.
2. Bookmark the gallery.
3. Introduce yourself with comment to the group's gallery.
3. Offer a critique of at least one project. Read the Critique Guidelines
and learn from these helpful examples

If you are extremely committed to the Scratch community, you might want to start your own critique group.  First, set up a gallery to host your group. I suggest posting an introduction project like this example. Then post a description of your group in this forum.  Explain how big you want your group to be, the initial focus/genre of the group, the minimum skills a new member should have, and the expectations of group members.  For example, how often are members allowed to submit projects for feedback?  Do all members have to respond to every submission? Or do you want to establish a ratio of 3 meaningful comments for every project submitted for feedback?  How do you define meaningful comments?

There are many ways to structure a successful critique group.  They key is to be flexible and supportive of your members.  A good group will evolve its own system over time.  To learn more about how to build your group, take a look at the Group Leaders Discussion.

(To add members to your group use the menu on the right side of your gallery page click on the button: change who can add projects. )

Re: Critique Groups

Hey! I think I might make one... Maybe this... The gallery is Physics Critique Group!

Currently= Open
Number of members= NONE
Moderator(s)= Oneandonly,
Hosted by= Oneandonly

If you're wondering why I did moderators in purple, it's because purple is a royal color.

The critique group is mainly about making people's physics on simulations and games more realistic and smooth.

I could think of much much worse feelings than that. I hate all these "Never on the front page" topics
