This is probably a really stupid question but how do you edit posts once you have already posted them?

Once you become a Scratcher, you'll be able to edit posts by clicking the 'Edit' link underneath your posts.
Currently, though, as a New Scratcher, you are not able to edit your posts.
If you would like to change the content of one of your posts, click the 'Report' link under the post to ask a moderator to edit for you.

At the bottom of your post, it says 'Report | Delete | Edit | Quote.' Click 'Edit' and edit it, then click 'Submit' at the bottom. At the bottom of the post it'll say 'Last edited by [username] [time when they last edited it], like I have done below.
You have to be a 'Scratcher' though, currently you are a 'New Scratcher.'

How many posts do I need to become a Scatcher?

Like said above only when you gain the title Scratcher.

I've seen Scratchers with 2 posts and New Scratchers with 100 posts. This Guide can help you.

Phirrip, in perspective, to be a Scratcher you need to basically be a month old on scratch.mit.edu
