What if somebody developed a chrome extension that allowed forum coding? It would be like basic forum coding that the extension could render and it would make really good things. Example:
#==if(lrm.username="WindowsExplorer"){
Your epic!
#==} else{
Your alright I guess.
#==}Let me explain.
1. Each line of forum code starts with #==.
2. To get stuff like users IP, and scratch username that they are currently logged in as, do lrm (stands for local ready made), so lrm.username would be their username. Then you could do lrm.postcount.
3. Maybe grm? Global ready made, so glm."Paddle2See".postcount would get data from other users. Cool huh?
Imagine if this was here?
#==if(grm."sparks".postcount>1800){
Your no noob!
#==} else {
Noobie :P
#==}Support this! If you think this should be, and if I get enough supporters, I will form a development group for this!

I see lots of scope for misuse:
#==if(lrm.username="WindowsExplorer"){
Be mean!
#==} else{
Inconspicuous stuff
#==}

![]()
Hmm.. maybe leave out the name part, and just do post count, so it cant be disabused.
You have #==lrm.postcount==# total posts!
There could also be a view code button, so you can report and disabuse.

Then what's the point? I don't see how this would be useful; not to mention the Scratch Team doesn't want post counts public, and anyway there is no API to get the post count.

Ok, here should be the list of features:
lrm post count (int), username (string) & amount of projects uploaded (int)
grm amount of projects uploaded (int)
view forum code button
declare variables:
#==(int.number=6) #==int.number==# is the var number! #==(string.name="WindowsExplorer") #==string.name==# is cool!

Is this for making posts more "user friendly"?
Well, its that, and also, add more mechanic to the forum, and having cool signatures like yours

I can tell you the Scratch Team has explicitly asked for these kind of things to be avoided, under many aspects:
- No userscripts
- No code parsing
- No post counts
- No username sensing (discussed somewhere as part of 2.0 discussions)

Once I saw you posted, I kinda knew it would be negative. No offense.

I thought I'd point out why this isn't a good idea, sorry to have ruined the party
You know, if you keep on thinking up these ideas, there might be a day when I find one perfect and agree to develop it! Good luck in that of course, since I always tend to see the realistic side of things.
