What's "scratcchthumbs"?
I've just been tidying up my folders on my laptop and I keep on seeing this file called "scratchthumbs". I've seen it many times in many different places. What is this? Can I delete it? When I try to open it I get a message like, "This file cannot be opened" or something like that.

Also, I've just exported a costume in my project and now all of a sudden scratchthumbs appears! Help Plz

Scratchthumbs is a file that Scratch uses to display thumbnail images for files in its file browser. The first time you open a folder, it generates the thumbnail file to use whenever that folder is open again. You can delete it, but Scratch will just generate it again the next time you browse to that folder in Scratch's browser, and it will take longer to do so.

Seriously, it's just a scratch-created dll to view files as thumbnails

Exactly. They only appear when you have have your file browser to show invisible files.
