The scratch team does not allow this because you could leave a project that could upset the creator, then once you know they've read it, you can delete it do they have no proof you posted it.

You could always request the owner of the project to delete your comment

Sometimes people realize later that they put out more information then they intended (maybe a real name or an email) - we're more than happy to help in situations like that.
