I particularly like the Flash viewer because it allows a project to be viewed on Android which is becoming so prevalent.
The issue that I need to resolve for this one particular project is the entry of "arrow keys". The Android "Hackers Keyboard" includes the arrow keys but I have yet to find a way to activate the keyboard when the project is touched (by default text entry fields in Android browsers activate the keyboard. Flash objects do not)
So I have two real questions:
1) Is there a tag of some kind for the Flash object that would cause Android to activate the keyboard?
2) Will the Flash player be made available from the public site at some point?
Cheers
Dave
Despite the fact that Android uses Java source code it is actually compiled into byte code for its own Dalvik virtual machine

When you start the flash project, it runs awesomely... except for when you have things off centered. Things look strange when you have extensions to costumes, like when a character's sword or something.
Very, very odd.

The good news is that I have completed a game. I used a USB keyboard plugged into my pad and then touched the game enough for it to get the focus for keyboard hits.

I think it's great. I think you should keep both because some people might have flash but not java or have java but not have flash. I have to use it because I do not have the right upgrades to java. But I think it is good.

I agree with you, and I'm pretty sure they're keeping both.

And everybody has a choice! At least give java a fullscreen option so at least it stands a chance.

Bug: on one game i can't use the arrow keys to control a character.
Don't know how that happened.

Try clicking on the project, then try it. If you click away from the project, arrow keys won't do anything.

Random projects don't work. Can anyone find a pattern, then someone adminly could fix it.
