Since they have a hacked forum software in their hands, why not expand the ignore users option in the forums, instead of just the main site. That way, you can chose what to see, and what not to see.

It's not really "hacked", just modified.
And, I guess I support, even though I wouldn't really use it much.

Yeah, it would nice to be able to ignore this topic, for example^^
Listen, these are forums, get over people that have other opinions. Or if you want, just make a user script that adds a cross near each topic that delete the topic's tr. Fine?

He never said anything about wanting the feature because of people having differing opinions. It's almost certainly not because of that.

I think he is saying that you would be able to ignore users who were trolling/flaming you, not those who had a differing opinion.

An interesting suggestion, one that I hope the ST will at least consider.

Awesome siggy [/offtopic]
I support, but i'm not sure i would really use it because I don't have anyone on my ignore list.

Well, it looks like I'm the only one against, so I'd like to explain my arguments:
* First, it may lead to so much confusion, if person A answers to a question, but person B doesn't see the post and can only know about things person A says from quotes.
* It may discourage new Scratchers from posting because of the danger of getting ignored.
I have some others, but too lazy to post

Which one? I have three different ones (randomly selected).

I fully support. I shouldn't have to read opinions I disagree with. It's unconstitutional!

That's not what it's about. It's about ignoring users that are spamming and trolling you. You could use it for what you said though to. But if you don't want to read opinions you don't agree with, don't read or reply to them. You're not forced to read everyone's opinions. But yes, it can be useful for that.

What do you mean by spamming or trolling? It seems like nowadays, having a differing opinion counts as those things around here. And what's this about 'hacked forum software'?

Hmm, well, I try to respect other opinions. It's just when It turns into an argument that I can't stand it. Sorry for sounding rude on the other post. And I have no Idea what he means by hacked forum software.

Its fluxbb, but theyve altered it to their liking. They even call it hacked themselves.

What? When did we start talking about the ST? I thought we were talking about the hackers. Are these fluxbb forum hackers on scratch?

Guys... It's simple, really. If a user is making a bad post or if a user annoys you in a topic... Avoid them and report the topic (If they are being mean ST will ban them.
Simple, really. Blocking could mess up the forums.

no. The scratch team uses an altered 3rd party plugin for the forums. And because they altered it, they call it hacked.
