I would love to become a curator, the projects I would chose would be more animation, like movies and stuff. I would pick less viewed projects that are very good if the project has over 100 views I would deffinatly not take it in. Here is an example of what I would pick: The cry AMV

I totally support this idea. This is like one of my dreams come true If I get to become a curator.
Please try again when you're a Scratcher on the forums!
You don't have to be a Scratcher, you're most likely to get picked when you're a Scratcher.
So, you can get curator when you're a New Scratcher.

When gf clicked Forever Say (thank you) EndI think I would like to try being a curator because I always see projects that are amazing but never have any views and I will have projects that give those people a chance to show themselves and enjoy scratch.

Wow, this seems like a great opportunity I would love to get involved in.
I would probably pick all different type of projects. I really like funny animations.
If I get curator, I will probably curate projects that have:
Less then 100 views
Less then 20 love it's
The person seems to have a great passion in programming
Isn't " famous"
I will not curate projects that:
Are mean or hurtful in anyway
Is a 1 sprite no script project
Is a no sprite no script project
I really hope you pick me!!
Thanks!

Dear Scratch team.
I am pretty new on scratch almost 2 months and I thought about it and now I really want to become a curator. I have started making videos on some scratch projects to go to youtube, to make scratch more popular and the project, as well as for the maker of the project to feel good about themselves that they have a video on youtube. Now I wanted to make other projects that are really hard to make popular only curated, like Scratcher of the month by Northmeister should have many more scratchers voting. Being curator is not just finding projects you like and favoring them, it is giving a project that has feelings of hard work and love. Usually projects of jonzo, astro. etc have lots of very good projects, but it's not worth curating, cause it already was front paged and famous enough. As me I like projects that have a lot of effort or creativity, as well as projects which needs views like a scratcher of the month. I will not curate projects that have been on the front page except for design studio and newest projects

Hey scratch team, I would love to be the curator! Why6 Because I would treat everyone fairly. I wouldn`t just pick my friends projects unless I thought they were worthy of being picked. If I seen a really cool game, and then seen one almost exactly the same, I would add the one that had been posted first because it wouldn`t be fair if someone copied and the became picked now would it? I would pick projects, that I think are fun, educating, and interesting. I would pick a variety of games, animations, and artwork, to be fair to every type of scratcher. So, if you could just consider letting me be curator, it would be deeply thanked by me, zor15, thanks!
And congratulations to whoever does get picked to be curator!
P.S. SCRATCH ON SCRATCHERS!!

Hello, sonicfan12p here. I've decided to finally make an application to become a curator! I've been thinking about this for a while, what projects would I curate? how often would I choose something new? And various other things. But I have finally decided, that I would curate projects that are either simple, yet funny, or projects that show an intimate knowledge of the Scratch program. I would also try to pick things not already findable on the front page, and to use the original version of something had it been remixed. For the next answer, I would try and find something new everyday, to make sure lots of really good projects get curated. This is an example of something I might curate, Maze Game. It is a fun yet simple game that I just found while browsing the newest projects section.
Reasons I should be curator include; I'm on the forums and main site often, so I'll find plenty of good projects, and I always try to be nice and encouraging. I also know a lot about Scratch, so I can appreciate the amount of work and the complexity of the program more than someone who just likes the final result. Finally, I'd be honored if I could fill this position. Thank you for your consideration.

Well, I do think cjones590's post is somewhat relevant to the topic.
If you want to get on the front page without getting featured or curated, I recommend making a project for the Scratch Design Studio. The themes are very fun, and as long as you follow the rules, you can post your project and it will appear on the front page!

Yup - I'd be happy to add your project, cjones590!

He was specifically saying he doesn't care about the curator position (and he also likes pie), which seems irrelevant to me, but okay.

Although I don't get why he said I like pie, wanting to get curated is something you might logically post here. But if you want to get curated, go here and request your project to be curated, as this is the current curator's thread. If you miss that boat, post here, as this is the thread for the next curator.
