It exploded a LONG time ago. In my opinion.

I think it exploded around the beginning of Season Two, according to Equestria Daily.

...On an unrelated note, this thread's been CRAZY active lately (Not saying that's a bad thing, of course). It's been less than a day since the last time I've checked, and there's already 2 new pages. Not to mention that there were 2 new posts at the exact same second I clicked on this thread... 

I've been reading a fanfiction titled "Smoke and Mirrors" lately. It's very captivating, and the characterization is spot-on. The third and fourth chapters are the funniest in the story so far. Chapter 6 (The newest chapter) is a bit dark and saddening though; I recommend the Carrot Top/Golden Harvest fans be cautious when reading that part.

So, a good fanficiton? Haven't heard that phrase in a long time. 

I'll try and summarize it as well as I can while my younger brother plays Earthbound in the background (Hey, that rhymes... sorta.  ).

The story revolves around a changeling named Mirror who broke her horn after Shining Armor and Cadence's spell (From "A Canterlot Wedding") sent her and the other changelings flying. She wakes up near Fluttershy's cottage with a broken hoof. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are about to discover her though, so she disguises herself as Daring Do (It was the only disguise that popped into her head). After a series of events, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy discover Mirror is a changeling, but promise (Pinkie Promise, actually) not to tell anypony about it. So, Mirror tries to blend in with Ponyville society without getting herself accused of being evil and thrown in jail.

I want to say more, but I don't want to spoil anything else.

That's a good point you have there. 

But I can become the FIRST sausage to have merchandise! I'll just have to hope they have MLP shirts at Target or Goodwill...
Problem is, there's not too many bronies (to my knowledge) where I live, so chances are I won't be finding any merchandise in stores. 
...And I don't wanna go through a big hassle by trying to make my mom order a shirt for me online.
