Booleans look like reporters

There's a limitation in HTML that make Booleans look like reporters:

if <not <>>
say (join (timer) <loud?>) for (x position) secs
end
I know there is no way to make the blocks hexagonal with that language. But, what causes it? No vector graphics?

isn't it meant to be like that?

nope
look at the "not" block there then in scratch 1.4
theres a difference

It's not an HTML limitation, but rather I believe a pinch of lazyness from our kind JSO  tongue

It's a CSS limitation actually.  JSO was trying to figure out a way to have the pointed edges with all browsers (as we all should know, IE has some problems with standards compliance)

IE doesn't do border-radius well anyways.

I think he should just do vector triangles.

Re: Booleans look like reporters

So, IE doesn't fully support CSS?

ikr?  Maybe he is being lazy  tongue
I actually doubt it, because he has added the cloud vars recently
JSO just needs convincing that vector graphics would work
[joking]
or, even better, he could just recode the entire thing in HTML Canvas!
