What skills do I lack that are required for this position?
You don't lack anything. But it's not like your a networking master-mind. I don't like to insult people, or to brag, but myself and Magnie are the only people on Scratch who only fit into the category.
I don't see how the title "networking master-mind" is essencial for this project?

It's a virtual world. My point is, cloud variables will not work (at least not well), and if they do, they'll require some advanced tweaking (such as setting up a server that reads off the cloud data for parsing)

I'm not sure how advanced this project will be, perhaps we should ask technoboy.

But the refresh rates may change. And honestly, I'd rather not use a third-party system for this, as I'd like it to work on the 2.0 site out of the box.

Fine, I'll back off (ignore my application). Just my one thing I'd like to say: don't put your hopes too high, because it's only a low chance that the cloud variable performance will accelerate.

If it's the only way, that's fine. Please don't be offended, I'm just giving my opinion. And you have a lot of experience, which I appreciate.

I'm not offended. In fact, I was worried I offended you guys. Also, do you mind if I make a little Scratch World (using FireMMO, o' course) with Scratch Cats and Gobos?

Sure! Are you still interested in joining Scratch Galaxy? I for one would love to have you aboard.

I'll say the same thing I say to just about everyone: I'll join, but don't expect me to be too dedicated, just their to post tutorials, answer questions, etc. for time to time.

This is an idea. If something bad does happen, and we should be prepared, there should be a way for the moderators to shut off Scratch Galaxy without deleting the project. That way all information is saved, and the moderators can figure out who was doing it. Again, this is just an idea.

As I'd know from experience, this can be fixed--but not well. Using a third-party program, such as FireMMO, this simplifies, but I do have a solution to this:
Have a cloud-list of moderators (encrypt passes, I suppose). When they authenticate, allow them to read the cloud-list of chat-logs, and kick people from the cloud server (via updating the cloud list that has the users online).
Does this make absolutely any sense?

Yeah, that makes sense. That's a good way to do it as well. Thanks for the help!

Cool. btw, would it be too much to ask to be listed as on the team under a titled like "Helper," "Assistant," or "Head Beta Tester." (ya know, that sort of thing)

Hello, Technoboy.
I would like to join the Looks Team. You may have seen some of my art from my projects. Also, I don't know why I'm being so formal! I can get to work right away. What should the player look like?
