Hello, Just posting a topic here because I believe a new feature needs to be added to scratch 2.0; and that feature is an EXECUTABLE version of scratch games! Yes, i believe a file exporter that will allow scratch games to run through flash-player or even .EXE should be created. I am suggesting this because I use a notebook on the go, and my notebook dosen't exactly have the CPU speed or, really the power to run scratch correctly, and i would love to be able to share .EXE versions of games! I understand that making .EXE versions of scratch games would be dangerous if they were shared online (because of trojans and viruses), but i believe it would be a good risk because it would be quite benificial to the scratch community. Sorry for the long post, but i believe this would work xD
Thanks,
Dan Jones

You can already do this in .EXE...
Try: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=82730
Or: http://www.chirp.scratchr.org/scratch2exe.html

a swf file leads you to a Online Scratch Prototype editor if you use fire fox with it

how about tar.gz????
That's a type of compression, like .zip, not an executable.
