According to IGN, Ninetindo's "Wii U" will be priced at a minimum of approx. 300$ (240€, 14724 Rupees, if you guys use those :p). That's a lot of money!
This will place the Wii U as the most expensive Ninetindo system, and depending on price changes, the most expensive Ninetendo video game console! :O
Thoughts?

The Ps3's price when it first came out was, like, 600 bucks.

That's $50 more than the Wii's (original) price.
Well, it IS portable... Is it?

I don't personally think that the Wii is worth that much.

"These battles actually happened in Japanese history"
"So here is this giant enemy crab"
"New and innovative features such as...real-time...weapon change"
"Attack its weak point for massive damage"
E3 conferences are very awkward. Take Reggie Fils-Amie at the announcement of Wii Fit as an example.
But seriously, the Wii U gets a new innovative feature announced every other day. You could expect it to be expensive. Unfortunately, this probably means I'll have to save up.
I still have you, Atari 7800...

How do you know how many Rupees?

Eh, I think that's a little under what the original Wii was when it came out.

This, it's definitely not the most expensive console.
The Wii U has good reasons to be 50 bucks more expensive than it's precessor, anyway.

Seriously, $300 (rough conversion: £200) is considered expensive to you guys? The PS3 has been out for 6 years now, and the price for a new one is around about £200. Considering the Wii U is a brand new platform and is as powerful as current generation consoles with new types of hardware (namely the new controller), it's actually a pretty darn good price. I don't really like Nintendo products that much but honestly, I don't see how this is unreasonable. Almost tempting, actually.

Playing Games... IN FULL HD!!!!
New Super Mario Bros. Mii
Draw on it (This might not sound cool, but I saw a REALLY awesome Zelda drawing in a video)
Controlled with Motion
Play across with the Wii U AND The TV
Make Video calls
