I dunno if this goes in requests or something, but can someone teach me how to make gifs? I tried long ago, but it never worked. I want to make one for my sig.

Yep, GIMP is a great tool for making animated gifs. There's even a tutorial for making animated gifs somewhere on the GIMP site...

Gimp is free software, and you can find a tutorial on making GIFs in it here.
