Actually, sometimes I'll hit the love-it button but not the favorite button. That's because favorites can be collected on my userpage whereas love-its cannot. If I like a project but would rather not have it gather on my userpage, I just hit love-it button without hitting the favorite button.
I know.
I am asking if you ever *fav* without *love*.
I'm fully aware of that, I'm just saying I do it the other way around and gave my reasons why. You do need information on all possible options before you decide to submit your suggestion, don't you?

She. And I'm fully aware of what illusionist is asking for, I'm just saying I do it the other way around and gave my reasons why. He need information on all possible options before you decide to submit his suggestion, surely he would also need to understand why the opposite also occurs. And from looking at the other options, clearly there are others around he who also have different ways of approaching the love-it and favorite options aside from other then the scenario that illusionist described, why discard mine as not being helpful?

I'll try to make sense of that... I see your point, but even illusionist himself stated that he only wants information that's about favouriting without loving and nothing else (the one you quoted in the post three posts up). I wasn't aware others had said the same as you either, so sorry if you thought I was singling you out or something.

Possibly because it appeared that an ST member didn't read carefully?
And for some reason i thought illusionist said they were a she.

Gaah it is "she". I hate typos, so much, simple changes can affect everything, this isn't the first time I mess something up badly. T-T I'll go back and correct it.
For the most part I do read questions carefully; there is, after all, no excuse for answering badly when not fully knowing a question since every effort can be taken to understand the question or every effort can be taken to ask for a clarification.

I only favorite something if I plan on going back to it often. I'll love it if I love it. I do not believe a change is in order, because favoriting something will only give you a link to that project in your stuff, whereas loving it is a key factor in where something is placed in search results, and lets the maker know how well the project was recieved.

I think favorites are more important then love its.

I only add projects to my favorites if I like them, and if I like them I hit the love-it button

I've only hit fav without a love-it once when there was a cool little encoder that I wanted to be able to find easily.

No, but alot I love something without favouriting it. I think favouriting it is better, so that's why there is love it too. I might like (or "Love") a project, but that does not mean it is one of my favourites.

I have maybe three or four, and its kind of annoying.

Actually, I do sometimes. Sometimes I just like to have instant access to a project, but I didn't think it deserved a love-it. Other times, I like a certain sprite or sound in a project, and I want to use it (with credit) but can't download the project at that very moment. So I favorite it to get back to it later.

I favorite useful projects that I want to find later. I usually love-it them first, because they're so useful.

I sometimes 'love-it' some very strange projects so I'd rather not have them on my userpage if you know what I mean
