The List Of Helpful Members! If You Are New Check This Out!
Ok here is a list of really helpful members that you guys should see for help! I also add comment about the members to help you get to know with them! If you like this idea tell me in comments!
(the numbers does not mean rank.)
1.ScratchX(If you have trouble with programming or scratch ask me!)
2.Dawnlight(Nice and helpful member)
3.JSO(Helpful but i haven't seen him on lately)
4.Paddle2See(I think he is the best person to see for help!
5.The Entire Scratch Team(this is NOT a member)
6.Archmage(great with programming)
7.Fruit(good with basic help)
8.All the forum Moderators(not a member)
9.Cheddergirl(nice helper)

I will update this everyday if i see a very helpful member! If you are not here suggest yourself and i will see if you are helpful!

You can just put in "All the Forum Mods" like you did for the Scratch Team. ^_^

Actually, I think all Scratchers are helpful. ^^ Scratch is a fascinating website with a wonderful and friendly community.
Also, I think loading the most helpful Scratchers with requests for help is unnecessary.

I like the idea of a directory of users and what their areas of expertise are...it's a great idea. I would like it better if people could add/remove themselves from the directory on their own. I don't see an easy way to do that, other than to have a single thread that people could add or delete their own posts .... and that isn't as easy to read as what ScratchX has developed here.
I agree with MyRedNeptune that most Scratchers are very helpful...but it is certainly useful to know who has expertise and a willingness to help in various areas. There is the danger of overloading people on the list though, and probably it would be a good thing if ScratchX asked people if it was okay to add them to the list.
For people looking for help...try just posting to the Forums first...if you don't get a useful answer within a day or two, then maybe use the directory and leave a comment. How does that sound to everybody?

Surely the Forums is always the better solution. Paddle2See and I and other Mods check the Forums regularly, and we will never leave a topic without an answer, unless we don't know how to help.

Yeah. In my forum lifetime, I've only run into one person that was not helpful.
I also agree that a directory is unneeded.

I will help anyone with programing (I am super at making OSes , but don't even think about asking me to help with graphics, as I have the worst graphic skills in the world.
