Instead of reading Speaker of the Dead, you should follow up Ender's Game with Ender's Shadow. It is a much better followup book.
Definitely. That's what I did, followed by Shadow of the Hegemon.

Haven't read either, but 'Ender's Game' sounds cooler than 'Hunger Games'.

Ender's Game is still ongoing (the series) and there's a movie coming out next year. If it's sci-fi you're into, Ender's Game wins, if it's romance, then Hunger Games wins. Ender's game has about as much action as Hunger Games, and neither are really comedic so I don't know about those areas.

Enders Game, all the way. Not an ounce of competition.

Ender's game. Its probably one of the best books I've ever read. And now with the rise of robotic drones, and genetic engineering, and ipads, and blogs, and the internet altogether, its predicted the future.

Ender's Game! To be honest I think there is more character growth in Ender's Game than in Hunger Games.

Haven't read Ender's Game, but The Hunger Games was too predictable. (And there wasn't enough focus on the dystopia)

Actually, I haven't even read Ender's Shadow. I read Speaker for the Dead right after Ender's Game, and it was pretty good.
