According to Wikipedia, Season 3 has been in production since September 2011! That was like, a billion weeks ago!

6-7 weeks * 26 = 156-182 weeks... Wait, that's like 3 years, can't be true. ಠ_ಠ

They write all the episodes in 5 weeks I think and then I don't know how long each takes but I'm sure they work on more than one at once considering they have a bunch of people.

Don't forget they still have to animate and record the voices for everything

On the TBGs, I have nearly 300 and I'm still new.
I was new until I got 113 on the regular forums.

Perhaps I'll make that the next episode I watch at the end of this week.
I limit myself to one new episode per week. Last week's episode for me was "The Mysterious Mare Do Well", and it just wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped.
I'm planning to go for watching one of the better episodes on Saturday.

To wait for Season 3, I suppose?
There's loads of episodes I haven't watched yet, haven't found the time to watch some.

Hey, I found an old cartoon that's kind of like the Season 2 finale, except completely insane!
It's this old Chinese cartoon called Monkey King (猴哥猴哥, I watched it at Chinese school after my class was done our final). I think it was episode 14 or 15. Basically, the cartoon is about a legendary monkey called 孙悟空 that has god-like powers like flying and repairing clothes with a pig's back hair (yes, this really happened) that goes around the country (China) to defeat demon-things, along with his friends the monk, the pig, and the random workman with almost no lines.
In this episode, it was kind of like A Canterlot Wedding - there's a villain who pretends to be good, in this case an evil demon-lady and her minion animals, except she pretends to be a little girl with food (for the pig-man) and then an old woman. Also, when Sun Wukong realizes that they're the demon lady in disguise, he kills them (the demon lady is still OK, though). Then there's some commotion in which Sun Wukong isn't believed, especially by the monk guy, and so throws several rage fits. Then he goes off to try and punch the evil spirits from the demons to death while they go to a temple, led by the minions disguised as the little girl's and old lady's family.
Some stuff happens and Sun Wukong accidentally shatters a statue of Buddha because it's the demon lady in disguise, and he's proven right and stuff, but here's the twist: THEY'RE STILL MAD AT HIM. Even though they know he's right. They BANISH HIM ANYWAY.
I found a video of the theme song, that's all I could find: http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/?v=b2ms6m8GZi8
This is kind of related, right?

I watch at least two or three episodes a day.
I want to make sure I can enjoy the episodes I haven't seen while I can. I'm planning to make the remaining episodes last me until Season 3. And if they don't last long enough, I'll just have to watch reruns.
Hm, maybe I can last myself off of reruns of episodes I've already seen while I wait for the weekend when I watch another new one...
Then, that way I don't have to watch ponies at a slow rate of 1 per week.
