This is where Applejack and I will be discussing an animation of the popular Shakespeare play Julius Caesar.
Hey Applejack, have you read Julius Caesar? I guess a rough outline of the story might help you out when drawing. I always give the "evil" people sharp noses, if you know what I mean, so I guess knowing a character influences how you draw them.

My sister saw a play. Is this the play where Caesar get's stabbed in the end?
Yep! That's the one. I spoke with Paddle2See about the stabbing scene, he said it's ok if you just say it in words and hide the actual stabbing behind maybe a roman column or a conspirator's body.
Sorry I've been really inactive again, it's just that I had to catch up with real life. But now I'm back.
I was thinking, we could do it as a series of still pictures with music and text on top with the story. It's easier than animating. I think sort of cartoon-like characters (think of JC in Asterix) would be perfect for this, but you're the artist so I'm gonna leave that decision to you. I think we should start out with a storyboard (which is like a dull stick-figure comic strip) and then build up each still with that. The story should flow like this:
1. History of Rome at that point (Tarquin the Proud, the Triumvirates, etc.) and Caesar's contrubitions (Julian Calendar, etc.)
2. Caesar returns after the battle, people of Rome want to make him king
3. The conspirators decide to kill Caesar because he may become another tyrannical ruler
4. They convince Brutus to join them
5. Actual stabbing
6. Mark Antony and Brutus' speeches in short
7. The War, lots of important characters die
8. Mark Antony with Brutus' body
9. History of Rome after Caesar

I don't know, but it may be interesting to skip right to the action, jump back to the exposition, and then back to the resolution. This is an interesting pattern where people watching would be wondering things, have their questions answered in the next part, ask more questions about the ending, and then have all the questions answered in the end.

Bump.
Applejack?

Oh, sorry! I think we should start with a story-boardish thing, as you said. Should I read Julius Caesar, or read spark notes, or have you tell me what to put in each scene, or what?

Err, just getting to know the summary should be fine.
